Svaneti Extreme Tour

The trip for real adventure lovers combining trekking and horseback riding tours in 10-days program. You we’ll see the hidden treasures of Upper and Low Svaneti from local’s point of view. We are using tiny hunters trails finding the gorgeous views and various terrain attractive even for highly experienced travelers. Trekkers and riders are accompanied by local guides who know the area and are able to give first aid.

Welcoming of family run guesthouses will give you the unique experience. 

Upper Svaneti lets you escape from buzzing towns and forgot the time limits. You’ll get the energy for the rest of the year and grate memories for the rest of your life.  

Day 1

Arrival to Upper Svaneti (Latali community) world-famous mountaineering center in Georgia.

Time to relax and enjoy your first impressive views of Caucasus mountains.

Day 2
Breakfast in the guesthouse Laleta

Short trek to mount Guli (2925 m) with the view to mount Ushba (Witches Mount) for warm-up and acclimatization for altitude. 5 hours.

Back to Latali community.

Starting the 5-day round trek “Latali’s lands”. First day Latli-Bogreshi (Ipari community). Length 21 km. Duration 8 hours.

Day 4

The 5-day round trek “Latali’s lands”. 2^nd day Bogreshi - Zhabiani (Ushguli community). Length 18 km. Duration 7 hours.

The 5-day round trek “Latali’s lands”. 3^d day – trekking to Shara glacier (mount Shhara 5068 m)  Length 10 km. Duration 5 hours. Back to Uhsguli.

The 5-day round trek “Latali’s lands”. 4^th day Zhabiani – Bogreshi. Length 18 km. Duration 7 hours.

Day 8.

2-day radial hors-trip from Upper to Low Svaneti. 1^st day Ienashi-Kachi. Length 25 km. Duration 8 hours.

2-day radial horse-trip from Upper to Low Svaneti. 2^nd day Kachi – Luori pass – Low Svaneti. . Length 23 km. Duration 8 hours.

Transfer by bus to Lentehi village (45 km)

Day 10

Transfer to Tbilisi

10 day program costs 475$ (for groups of 10 people) and includes 8 nights at guesthouse + 1 overnight  in tent, half board in guesthouses, trekking stuff (tent + sleeping bag), horses for 2 days, transfer to Lentehi, all guided tours during 10 days.

Please pay attention: insurance, extra meals and snaks, transfer to Upper Svaneti and from Lentehi to Tbilisi  (or over place in Georgia) are not included in this price.

Plan to arrive the day your tour starts at the latest (flights from the US usually depart the day before). The closest airport is Kutaisi (but you also might have a flight to Batumi or Tbilisi).  We can arrange airport pickup and extra nights Svaneti before or after the trip.

Plan departure for the next day the tour ends at the earliest. Tbilisi is about 9 hours by car from Upper Svaneti.
